Flowers make for excellent abstracts. ‘Fleshy;’ always comes to mind, for me.

Flowers are symbolic of so many things; abstractions probably only add to the effect. :)

It is quite different, yes. Sometimes it is good to do things you're not particularly into, if only to see the possibilities.
